The agent of Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is confident his move from Italy won't work against his chances of Azzurri selection.
The former Chelsea striker signed for Liverpool over the summer from AS Roma.
Agent Marco de Marchi told TMW: "I answer with a joke: as Liverpool and Manchester are not far apart, they are 40 km apart from each other, when coach Cesare Prandelli goes to see Balotelli I'll advise him to stretch even to Liverpool ...
"Beyond the jokes, I think nowadays you can no longer speak of playing abroad or in Italy. Now football has become global, borderless. Besides, the English league is one of the most challenging and competitive, a very important test. It all depends on the players who play abroad, not so much where they play. If a player does well, he is surely noticed, regardless of the league."
