The agent of Iago Aspas insists his client will not be leaving Liverpool this summer.
26-year old Spanish forward Aspas has struggled for regular game time since arriving at Anfield from Celta Vigo in May last year, making just 14 appearances in total, and scoring once in an FA Cup win over Oldham Athletic.
Rumours suggest that Aspas could move on at the end of the season but his representative, Rodriguez Baster, has made it clear that he is keen to remain and fight for a starting spot with the Premier League title fancies.
"There is no possibility of Iago returning to Spain or going anywhere else," Baster told GianlucaDiMarzio.com.
"Iago has a four-year contract with Liverpool and is very happy to be with the Reds, apart from the fact that he would obviously like to play more.
"But he is happy with Rodgers and he is not thinking about moving. I've never talked to any Italian club, Iago Aspas is fine at Liverpool and happy that the team is having a great season."
