The agent of Flamengo striker Adriano admits a move to Roma is likely. Adriano has confirmed talks with Roma before Christmas about a return to Italy.

"He always said he wanted to return to Italy because he wants to apologize for the way in which left Inter," said Gilmar Rinaldi. "Now that he has refound his desire, determination and happiness, he would like to return to Italy to play with maybe Francesco Totti.

"Until now many teams have come forward since his contract expires in June, but he would like the red and yellow solution.

"There was the will of Roma to buy Adriano, but we wanted to respect the contract with Flamengo. Now things have changed. Certainly we will sit down and decide what to do."
