The agent of Manuel Almunia admits a return to Spain could be on for the Arsenal goalkeeper.

Almunia has been linked with an exit from Arsenal in the New Year with Malaga said to be interested, although Atletico Madrid and Osasuna are no longer in the race.

Almunia's agent Joseba Diaz insists discussions are ongoing with the Emirates Stadium club.

"We have not finished negotiations, but it is clear that Manuel wants to return to Spain," Diaz told the Daily Mirror.
