Elseid Hysaj is ready to leave Napoli when his contract expires in June.

Talks over a new deal for the fullback have been dragging on for a year.

"Hysaj is very calm, despite the fact his contract is running down, because he knows that Gennaro Gattuso has faith in him," agent Mario Giuffredi told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“He is performing at the kind of levels he hadn't reached since Maurizio Sarri was at the club. Hysaj proved that even without a new contract, he is causing no problems and just gets on with his work.

“There are many players in Serie A who are reaching the end of their contracts, like Nikola Maksimovic or Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma, but nobody doubts their commitment or professionalism."

Giuffredi added: “After many years and so many meetings with failed attempts to reach an agreement, it is only right that he have a change of scenery and experience new things."
