Agbonlahor 'buzzing' after netting brace in 300th Aston Villa outing

Aston Villa hero Gabby Agbonlahor marked a milestone game for his beloved club with a match-winning brace on the weekend.

The speedy English forward, 28, stepped out for his 300th Premier League appearance in Saturday's meeting with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light and lit it up with a double in the 4-0 triumph.

Agbonlahor, who scored two alongside Christian Benteke, told Villa's official website: "It's a massive achievement for myself, I'm buzzing and to get two goals was perfect.

"It's always good to score especially when you're playing down the middle. I'm enjoying playing there.

"In different games, the gaffer will change it as he sees fit and I'm happy to be playing as striker at the moment.

"We're creating more chances and we're starting to put them away which is good for Christian and I in terms of confidence."
