Agbonlahor admits coming from big Aston Villa family

Aston Villa attacker Gabby Agbonlahor admits he comes from a Villa mad family.

Agbonlahor says he's fulfilling a family dream playing for the Villans.

"I grew up in a family of Aston Villa fans," says Agbonlahor, who will be playing the 299th game of his career, 289 of them with Aston Villa plus 10 on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and Watford when he was 18.

"Villa's my local team, so it was only natural I grew up supporting them.

"My father's a very clever man, he's a doctor of science and he has a PhD, but I always wanted to be a footballer.

"My brother, Charisma, was a better player but he went to a grammar school where they played rugby and that stopped his football chances."
