After Cole and Gerrard, Torres to deliver Liverpool more good news

Fernando Torres is expected to deliver good news to Liverpool fans. The Daily Mail says the Spanish World Cup winner, who has another week's break followed by a prolonged recovery from the groin injury he suffered in the final triumph over Holland, has yet to meet manager Roy Hodgson, and he can expect to be inundated with calls and texts of support from Steven Gerrard.

There is every indication the 26-year-old striker will ignore the attentions of Chelsea and Manchester City to pledge himself to Liverpool again.
