AEG president Leiweke expects Beckham to remain with LA Galaxy

The president of the company that owns MLS giants LA Galaxy is confident that David Beckham will stay at the club next year.

AEG's Tim Leiweke feels that the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and AC Milan midfielder, whose MLS contract expires at the end of the current season, will remain dedicated to the Galaxy cause even though there is interest from the likes of Tottenham, QPR, Leicester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

"I think David is loyal to us," Leiweke told Sports Illustrated. "Despite all the rumours and bulls out there about David going to France or the Premier League, David only leaves the Galaxy if David and we decide that.

"In fact, I believe David will be here again next year. People can make any offer they want. The loyalty he has to this club because of the way we have treated him and stood by him is going to be rewarded if we so choose to continue with David."
