Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat has revealed that the club has offered him a new contract.
The Dutchman, who steered the Black Cats to safety after taking over in March, also confirmed that he will be making a decision on the offer sometime during next week.
"I have to be honest to myself and to everybody about what I will do for the future," said Advocaat. "They offered me already two or three years."
Advocaat added: "As quickly as possible, because the club must know. They have to go on as well. One way or the other way.
"There's no sense to discuss it now. Let's wait until next week and then I'll make the decision."
