Flamengo striker Adriano has taken a swipe at Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.

Adriano admits he never saw eye-to-eye with Mancini while they worked together at Inter Milan.

"Mancini? I did not feel like we worked well together, we argued a lot, but these things happen. Maybe he could have had a little more patience," said Adriano.

"There was also the problem of the death of my father, maybe he could have thought a little bit more.

"The future? I want to become world champion and return to Italy. I want to apologize about the way I left."
