Adelaide United goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic is not too perturbed about whether he plays for the Australian national team on October 9.
The dual A-League Goalkeeper of the Year has been called into Holger Osieck's 19-man squad to take on Paraguay in Sydney next weekend and although he is likely to be Mark Schwarzer's deputy, he is not too fussed.
"It's hard. Australia has got some very good goalkeepers and I'm just happy being there, but if I get a chance I'll take it," Galekovic said.
"It's obviously an honour any time you play for your country and get called up to the squad, so I'm looking forward to it."
Galekovic joins fellow A-League competitors Alex Brosque (Sydney FC), Jason Culina and Michael Thwaite (Gold Coast United), Matt McKay (Brisbane Roar) and Jade North (Wellington Phoenix) in the Socceroos squad.
