Adelaide United vice-captain Lucas Pantelis could join the Brisbane Roar next season according to reports.

The 27-year old is out of contract at the end of the season and it is believed his former Young Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou is keen to get him to Suncorp Stadium.

Pantelis is unhappy with a recent offer made to him by the Reds and contract talks have stalled meaning the Roar may swoop for the attacking midfielder.

Adelaide and Pantelis will be in Queensland this weekend as they take on Gold Coast United but any chance of a meeting is unlikely as the Roar take off to Wellington for their clash with the Phoenix.
