Adelaide's Ognenovski makes plans ahead of departure

Adelaide United defender Sasa Ognenovski has some things to achieve before he sets off for the next phase of his football career. The 29-year old agreed terms with Korean club Seongnam last weekend but before he goes he has some things to cross off his 'to do' list.

First on his list is to win the A-League championship this season.

"I'm excited about the move but obviously still concentrating on what the job is at hand here. We've still got a long way to go although we are in a good position," he said.

"We really have to keep our composure and play to our best."

A Socceroos berth would also be something he would like to achieve in the near future.

"It would be nice but I'm not holding my breath because I haven't made any of the squads up until now," he added.

"If it happens it would be a great honour. If it doesn't then what can I do about it, I'm not the coach or the selector.

"That's one thing in my CV that I haven't got and hopefully it comes. All I can do is play the way I'm playing and if that's not good enough for them they can pick other players."
