Adelaide coach Vidmar: No reason to panic

Adelaide United coach Aurelio Vidmar believes the club are not yet at panic stations.

The Reds have taken just one point from their opening four rounds t "We will need to do some serious work in terms of how we will shape up for the next game against Wellington," said Vidmar.

"We will need to tighten up as a whole.

"That is not just the defenders, it is the whole group.

"The good thing is we are not dead. There is no reason to panic."

Vidmar said he would have to change the team's formation back to what they know, due to the fact that early-season injuries have not allowed him to play the way he has wanted to.

"We have had to change our formation with some of the players we have out. I thought we were ready for it but we are not," added Vidmar.

"We will go back to what we know well, what they are comfortable with.

"We would love to have Travis, Cassio, Fabian, Sarkies out there but, at this point in time, we need to steady the ship.

"Once those boys are ready to go we will be ready to put out a strong side and formation the players are more comfortable with. Once we get all the boys back the whole dynamic changes."
