Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor says their title hopes hinge on the form of Harry Kane.
Adebayor accepts Kane has now moved ahead of him in the attacking pecking order.
"He is a young lad and at the moment I think he is the only one that can save our season," Adebayor told the London Evening Standard. "Gareth Bale did it two seasons ago and I scored [14 goals in 24 games] in the second half of last season.
"Harry is learning through his difficult moments as well as his positive ones but he is fantastic player. Hopefully, he will drag us out of the top seven and put us in the top four. If he can keep scoring as he has recently, of course he can do it.
"But don't get me wrong, now people are starting to get to know him and what he can do and what he cannot do, his positives and negatives on the pitch. But he is an intelligent lad and he just has to find his way."
