Emmanuel Adebayor admits his early season problems at Tottenham even reached Togo.

He says that his family were reproaching him as he struggled to make an impact at White Hart Lane.

"I was right at the bottom of the hole," Adebayor said to The Sun. "Even people in my own country, people from my own family, criticised me. It can't get worse than that."
