Highly-rated Everton midfielder Adam Forshaw is delighted to have been named Reserves Player of the Year.

The midfielder made four appearances on-loan for the League OneBrentford.

"I'm made up," he told evertontv. "To get the Player of the Year award for the second team is a real honour, so I'm really pleased.

"I've really enjoyed this season. We had a tough pre-season but I've gradually got fitter and come into it a little bit more. Going out on loan really helped me to push on."
