Lautaro Acosta's chances of getting a move away from Sevilla have been hit.

The little-used Argentina striker was hoping to move to France on-loan in January in order to get some much-needed first team football under his belt.

However, it's emerged that he is carrying a major ankle injury and Sevilla medical chiefs are considering whether he should go under the knife. Surgery could mean Acosta off his feet for five months.
