Despite still insisting that the penalty wasn't there, AC Milan defender Kakha Kaladze has apologised to referee for Stefano Farina for being critical. Kaladze was furious with Farina after Sunday's 2-2 draw at Torino, claiming Farina didn't know the rules.

However today he issued an apology on the AC Milan website.

"I am very sorry for my reaction on Sunday night," Kaladze said.

"Without a doubt it was the result of post-match tension. I would like to clarify that I only criticised the referee from a technical point of view."
