AC Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini believes the Italian game doesn't suit fellow Frenchman Yoann Gourcuff.

Gourcuff is wowing them on-loan at Bordeaux this season and Flamini says: "The Italian league is much more difficult, defences are tighter and the tactical aspect is more important here.

"The opposition leaves far less space. For an attacking player like Gourcuff it's more difficult, but Yoann is a good player."
