AC Milan will face a stiff battle to prise Unai Emery away from Sevilla.

The Sevilla coach is a big target for Milan, but his relationship with local fans is among the strongest in Europe.

For victory over Almeria, Sevilla midfielder Denis Suarez revealed part of Emery's halftime team-talk involved highlighting the fans.

"You can't say goodbye to the Sevilla fans like this," he said for their final home game of the season.

In the post-match media conference, Emery stated: "Every day when I wake up I give thanks to Sevilla for being where I am today."
