Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo is being linked with a move to AC Milan. Negredo is on-loan at Valencia this season and is expected to sign permanently in the coming weeks.
However, Calciomercato.com says Milan could step in for Negredo thanks to Doyen Sports' involvement with a potential takeover.
Nelio Lucas, who is part of Doyen's board, was in Milan this weekend, fueling talk of player strategy talks with the club, which would include a deal for Negredo.
The player's agent, Juanma Lopez, also takes care of Alvaro Morata, so further strengthening Milan's hand in negotiations.
