AC Milan forward Giampaolo Pazzini hopes to fire his way back into the Italy squad.

Pazzini did not make the squad for Euro 2012, and has conceded that he would like to play once again for the Azzurri.

"Even though I wasn't called up to the last squad, I still root for the Azzurri," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"If I get a lot of goals [for Milan], then I hope to receive a call-up."
