AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has claimed that Alberto Aquilani has joined the club on a free loan from Liverpool.
Recent reports suggest that the Italian midfielder has signed a season-long loan with the Rossoneri with the option of a permanent deal next summer.
It has been suggested that Milan will have to pay just over £5million for Aquilani, who spent last season with Serie A rivals Juventus.
