AC Milan are set to pass on signing permanently Mattia Destro.

Destro arrived on-loan in January from AS Roma with the option to sign permanently for €16 million.

The striker has only scored twice since his move and Milan believe his price is too high.

Sportmediaset says Milan are now set to send the striker back to Roma at the end of the season.

The final decision will be left to coach Pippo Inzaghi - or his replacement.
