AC Milan's Beckham delighted for LA Galaxy teammate Donovan

AC Milan loanee David Beckham is delighted his LA Galaxy teammate Landon Donovan is performing well at Everton. The Galaxy pair, who are both enjoying loan spells away from the club (Beckham's is until the World Cup in June whilst Donovan's is until late March), had a run-in of sorts last season when Donovan criticised Beckham for not being a team man but have since made up and are happy each other is doing well.

Beckham said he was confident Donovan would play well in the English Premier League and said his recent performances had vindicated that.

"It's great to see that Landon's doing well," Beckham said as reported by Goal.com Italia.

"I always said that given the chance, he's a very good footballer."

Donovan has helped the Toffees enjoy a good run since he joined, scoring one goal and providing two assist in his six matches.
