AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has taken a thinly veiled swipe at Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli. Milan sold Balotelli to Liverpool for £16 million in August.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Berlusconi declared: "We have lots of champions running around: Jérémy Ménez, Keisuke Honda, Stephan El Shaarawy, Fernando Torres, Nigel de Jong ... the foundation is there.
"That rotten apple, fortunately, we no longer have..."
