AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi says the derby with Inter Milan is the most important game of the season.

Berlusconi addressed the players on Friday.

He declared: "Tomorrow's game belongs in tradition. It is the most important match of the year. It's even more important this time, because we are practically on a par with Inter in the table.

"Whoever wins will emerge from the crisis. Whoever loses is in the thick of a crisis, because the two clubs will be compared.

"Therefore it is particularly important and I am sure you'll give the best you've got. I am convinced this game can take us back into the light."
