AC Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi is casting his net wide to find a replacement for Leonardo.
After two days of attacks from Leonardo, Italy PM Berlusconi has maintained a strategic silence, says Gazzetta dello Sport, instead sounding out potential candidates for the Milan coaching position.
Berlusconi has discussed the prospect of Filippo Galli being promoted from the youth setup, but also is keen to speak with Marco van Basten about returning to the Rossoneri.
Galatasaray coach Frank Rijkaard and recently sacked Cagliari boss Massimiliano Allegri are also on Berlusconi's shortlist.
