AC Milan will not offer Zlatan Ibrahimovic a new contract.
The 41 year-old has worked his way back from summer knee surgery in the past month and is off contract in June.
Foot Mercato says Milan have no intention of offering the Swede a new deal.
Ibrahimović has only featured in four Serie A games this season, playing a total of 144 minutes and has struggled with injury.
“When everyone says it's enough, it doesn't work. That's when I get an adrenaline rush," he said in March while on international duty with Sweden.
“I just want to keep going. After winning the Scudetto with Milan I could have quit, but it would have been too easy. Nor was it a conclusion that suited me.
“I want to go forward, I want to challenge myself. I don't give up. Challenges give me adrenaline. Even you journalists, since I was young, have written and said about me that I was too different, messy, self-centred. Everything. You have helped me and you are still doing it. I always have this desire inside me to show those who doubt that they are wrong."
