AC Milan to offload big names over Champions League failure

AC Milan are ready to offload several high-profile names at the end of the season.

La Repubblica says Milan powerbrokers are furious after Sunday's dismal defeat at Napoli and know that missing the Champions League will cost the club £20-25 million next season.

Carlo Ancelotti will remain as coach, but he will be ordered to play a new system - 4-2-3-1.

Dida, Alberto Gilardino, Yoann Gourcuff and Cristian Brocchi will leave, along with Bayern Munich-bound Rino Gattuso. The management of Alexandre Pato is also up for discussion, while Milan directors are bracing themselves for fresh offers for stars Andreas Pirlo and Kaka over the summer.
