AC Milan assistant coach Mauro Tassotti would happily work with Massimiliano Allegri.
Former Cagliari coach Allegri is favourite to take the job at the Rossoneri.
"Whatever decision the club makes, nothing will change in our relationship. I have been here for 30 years and I am very well," Tassotti said.
When asked about his future, Tassotti added: "These aren't the kind of discussions you have over the phone.
"I will talk with the club and the new Coach when I get back to Italy. The priority is being satisfied with your work in what you do. The rest comes afterwards.
"There is no disappointment on my part. It's clear that when they ask you if you would like to coach Milan, the answer is 'yes'. Then things can take another turn without compromising relationships."
