AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez says he was never given a chance at Real Madrid.

Lopez left Real for Milan last summer.

"Someone has killed me, but I was looking only to work for the good of Real Madrid and help the club," said Lopez.

"I can walk on with my head held high. Two coaches had confidence in me."

Indeed, despite protests from fans, both Carlo Ancelotti and predecessor Jose Mourinho went with Lopez over Iker Casillas at times during his spell with Real.
