Premier League clubs are circling Manchester United for Jesse Lingard.

The England international excelled while on loan at West Ham last season, but remained at United this term and has now entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.

The Daily Telegraph says Everton are “keen" to bring the 28-year-old to Goodison as a free agent next summer.

But Everton will face competition from West Ham, Newcastle and AC Milan.

Milan would prefer to complete a pre-contract deal with Lingard "in the coming months", as the player is free to negotiate terms with foreign clubs from January 1.
