AC Milan are preparing a mega bid for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo - with the help of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Corriere dello Sport says Milan are in talks with Sheikh Mohammed about him buying a stake in the club - worth €200 million.

And much of the money raised will go towards prising Ronaldo away from Real.

Milan will offer Ronaldo €20 million-a-year to make him the highest paid player in the game's history and be willing also to make the former Manchester United star the game's first €100 million-plus transfer.

Ronaldo has stated in recent days he'd like to play out his career in Madrid. His contract now carries the buyout clause of €1 BILLION.
