AC Milan, Inter warned off Barcelona star Messi by Lippi

The Italian agent of Lionel Messi has cooled talk of a move to Milan for the Barcelona star. Messi was in the city on Sunday for a Dolce & Gabbana promotion and was reported to have dined with AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.

But Davide Lippi told Radio Sportiva: "He was in Italy for something related to Dolce & Gabbana, there was no meeting with Adriano Galliani, there was just no meeting.

"I was disappointed to hear this news as it is not true. In the afternoon he returned to Barcelona. I am not his representative in the market, Messi has his father and brother, I deal with the question of Dolce & Gabbana, I'm glad to work with him.

"Everyone can dream what you want, but my feeling is that he will remain forever in Barcelona. You cannot blame him, they're one of the strongest teams of all time."

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti, meanwhile, said: "I'm not doing any courtship with Messi, there 's just a lot of admiration and nothing else."
