AC Milan striker Antonio Cassano has apologised to a journalist he insulted this week. Corriere dello Sport writer Andrea Santoni found himself in the bar section of Italy's training camp, which is usually closed to journalists.

Cassano spotted him there and insulted the writer, although the FIGC confirmed this afternoon that the incident had been resolved.

Indeed, both Cassano and Italy coach Cesare Prandelli met with Santoni with the striker apologising.
