AC Milan director Paolo Maldini says it's important the club maintains it's traditions.

Maldini concedes he sees it as his responsibility to make sure their history is respected.

He said, “I do feel this responsibility for my past, for the bond my family as with this club and for the fans who consider me a guarantee.

“Since we started this process in July 2018, there have been enormous changes, above all since I was sat at home watching the games on television. You often say things without realising the reality of working as a director, so that experience has allowed me to grow and develop."
