AC Milan defender Thiago Silva admits he also had offers from Inter Milan during his time with Fluminense.
Thiago is developing into one of Serie A's best central defenders.
He revealed: "I wouldn't have a problem playing many years in Milan like Paolo Maldini did.
"Before Milan called I had been told that Inter had also showed interest in me but then I didn't have any more news about them and that's why I've always said yes to Milan.
"Now that I'm in this team I would never think about the chance of playing at Inter. I am very thankful to my club so I wouldn't even think about the chance of playing for Inter."
