AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer says they maintain their focus against Manchester United on Thursday.
he Rossoneri face United in the second leg of the Europa League round of 16.
The first leg in Manchester finished 1-1 last week.
"We must always improve. We did positive things in the first leg, but we must keep improving," Kjaer said at a press conference.
"We have done so much that we no longer need to talk about our group as a young one.
"The road to get here was long. There were positive steps and some difficult moments," he continued.
"Qualifying for the next stage would be great, tomorrow's game is like a final, but we must remember we would achieve nothing if we qualify."
On Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he added: "He always gives something more to the team, on and off the pitch. I am not the coach. I can't say if he will play tomorrow. Indeed, his presence is significant for us."
