AC Milan defender Davide Astori admits he wants to remain with Cagliari.

The youngster is in co-ownership between the two clubs and Milan are keen to bring him back to the San Siro next season.

Astori said: "I'd like to remain here, though any call from Milan would be an honor for any player. In Cagliari I'm happy, the environment is calm.

"Even after the five initial defeats, the fans have left us to work in peace."
