AC Milan consider offloading Origi in January

AC Milan are already weighing up the future of former Liverpool striker Divock Origi.

Calciomercato.com says AC Milan are debating whether to offload Origi next summer as he continues to struggle with injury issues.

The Belgian forward left Liverpool at the end of last season, bringing to an end a memorable chapter at the club during which he contributed a number of vital goals.

Since signing for the reigning Serie A champions, Origi has missed five matches due to being sidelined and is understood to have been unavailable for his team's recent friendly versus Liverpool due to a recurring issue.

This latest setback represents a 'problem' for AC due to Olivier Giroud now needing to be relied upon on the back of an intense World Cup campaign. The report adds unless his fitness improves in 2023, Milan 'could decide to sell him' at the end of the season.
