AC Milan coach Pioli: We're all here for Theo; tough for Maignan

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli says they don't expect Mike Maignan to play again until the New Year.

Pioli also touched on the home robbery of fullback Theo Hernandez.

Ahead of their clash with Monza, he said: "What happened to Theo and to his partner, these are unpleasant situations and they have also touched us because we belong to a family, he knows that if he needs us we are there.

"The first days he was very upset, now he is unloading his anger on the field and that's what he must try to do, then we will help him in everything and for everything.

"As for Mike, we are very sorry for his injury. He is an important player and he was doing everything to return: we tried to evaluate all the possibilities, he pushed to return earlier and the instrumental exams said that he had already recovered in the previous week.

"We did all the right things, but unfortunately it's not the same muscle (calf) and this injury will keep him out until January I think."
