AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic was delighted with their 2-0 win over Palermo.
Carlos Bacca and an M'Baye Niang penalty earned the three points for Milan.
“We have now achieved a victory and consistency throughout a match," Mihajlovic told Mediaset Premium.
“In the first half we dominated, while after the break we controlled the situation. It was a deserved win and we are very satisfied. I wanted responses after the derby and I got the responses I wanted.
“It's a different Milan to the one we saw in the first half of the season. We struggled at the start, but now the team is improving and we need above all a psychological step up in quality.
“We are in the Europa League zone now, our objective is to take it one game at a time and see if we're in a position to challenge for more."
