AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri was delighted with victory over Lecce.
Allegri admits he didn't expect to be four points clear, "but there's a long way to go."
As Juventus were held to a 0-0 away to Genoa, the Rossoneri are breaking away at the top of the Serie A table.
"We played well, especially at the start. We did risk conceding an equaliser, as games do get complicated if you don't finish them off, as we saw in London. If we don't score then we have to carry on playing and try to be more determined. You can't always win when playing well, so sometimes you have to get points with the minimum effort.""It was important for us to win today, as that would ensure the two-point advantage remained intact, but instead we have four points. There's a long way to go," he said after a 2-0 victory over Lecce.
