AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani held crisis talks with coach Carlo Ancelotti immediately after last night's UEFA Cup elimination at the San Siro.

Milan's 2-2 draw with Werder Bremen saw them dumped out of Europe on the away goals rule and Galliani told Corriere dello Sport: "There is a risk of repercussions.

"Are people questioned? No, but then again this is a big problem. The absence of (Alessandro) Nesta, (Rino) Gattuso and Kaka has counted against us."
