AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits he met with Clarence Seedorf over the winter break. Botafogo midfielder Seedorf is being linked with the Milan coaching job, which will be vacated by Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the season.
"If I have seen Seedorf in Brazil? Yes I saw him, we hang out every year, we are friends.
"Allegri's farewell? I'm sorry, because the four years were beautiful but it was a choice we agreed upon."
Galliani also spoke of director Ariedo Braida's departure.
"Ariedo Braida was my player at Monza. When I arrived at Milan I wanted him with me, calling him from Udinese. It was 28 long, beautiful years, he was very good, he found so many players and so we honor Ariedo."
He added on Seedorf: "Seedorf made official soon? It'll go on like this until the end of the year and then we'll see. Seedorf in pole position? Let's say he's in position (laughs)."
