AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has defended coach Pippo Inzaghi over his selection of Alessio Cerci.

Cerci's girlfriend slammed Inzaghi for only giving him a handful of minutes in victory over Cesena.

"Cerci not playing? While in defence we have so many injured, in attack we are well and these are technical choices that makes the coach," Galliani told TMW.

"In any case, the boy will be useful to the cause Rossoneri.

"For the tweet of his girlfriend, I will not comment, the regulations imposed by us does not concern the companions of players in which we can do nothing."
