AC Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli is in talks with Lazio.

The defender comes off contract at the end of the season.

Sportitalia transfer pundit Alfredo Pedullà has reported Romagnoli's agents met with Lazio officials last week.

The centre-back is a life-long Lazio supporter, even though he joined Milan from Roma, and would relish a return home.

Lazio has offered Romagnoli a five-year contract worth €3m-a-season plus up to €500,000 in bonuses.
